Principal's Message

Welcome Students, Parents, and Community Members to 2020-2021 school year!

 

As we plan for a beginning like no other we have seen in the past; our focus will still be to ensure that Every Student, Every Day is finding a way to feel connected. It is my pleasure to serve you and our community as we guide our students to a new generation of education at Turner County High School.

 

Spring of 2020 has challenged staff and students to find a new normal for learning. It is our goal at TCHS to not only find our new normal but to use this time as a learning experience that will forever impact the teaching and learning environment. We will strive to maintain continuous growth for student learning and achievement in preparing students for college, career, and life.

 

TCHS is a small school with endless opportunities. Our staff at both the school campus and district level exemplify pride on ensuring that our students have as many, if not more, educational and extracurricular opportunities as students throughout the state. High-quality instruction is essential during these tough times. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards so that there will be no shortage of opportunities for each student daily. 

 

Lastly and most importantly, TCHS has a rich tradition of caring and nurturing all students. We plan to continue to do whatever it takes to ensure that every student has a successful 2020-2021 school year.
