Leeanna McKinney will be competing for the second time at the State Leadership Conference—an incredible accomplishment that reflects her dedication and growth. She chose cosmetology because it is something she truly enjoys, and through this experience, Leeanna has developed strong leadership skills and discipline.
Her determination has been inspiring to those around her, and we are so proud of the progress she has made.

Through dual enrollment, Azaria has already earned her Salon & Spa Support Specialist certification and is gaining real-world experience applying her skills in the lab. 💇🏽♀️✨
Azaria is also a 1-year Work-Based Learning student, serving as the Cosmetology Assistant for our SRTC instructor, Mr. Billy White. Opportunities like these allow our students to build confidence, develop professional skills, and prepare for successful careers while still in high school.

We’re excited to announce that Turner County High School is officially participating in Teens in the Driver Seat (TDS) for the 2025–2026 school year! This nationally recognized, student-led traffic safety program empowers teens to make safer choices behind the wheel and as passengers.
Through engaging lessons, videos, activities, and student leadership opportunities, TDS helps create a strong traffic safety culture on campus—all while giving students a voice in saving lives. 💙🧡
📊 As part of the program, students will complete short surveys that help improve teen driver safety nationwide—and our school can earn All-Star rewards funding by participating!
Special thanks to our FCCLA involvement and connections made at GATFACS for bringing this impactful program to our school. We’re proud to support initiatives that prioritize student leadership, responsibility, and safety both on and off campus.
