🌟 Turner County Middle School Participates in Statewide Day of Service 🌟 Turner County Middle School proudly partnered with Turner County 4-H to participate in the Statewide Day of Service led by Georgia’s 2026 Teacher of the Year, Rachel Kinsaul, on March 18, 2026. This initiative, supported by the Georgia Department of Education, encourages schools across the state to connect classroom learning with meaningful community service while building civic responsibility and real-world skills. Our students and staff embraced this opportunity to give back in several impactful ways:
❤️ Creating and delivering heartfelt cards to local nursing home residents and veterans
🌎 Picking up trash across our school campus to help keep our environment clean and beautiful Through service-learning experiences like these, our students are learning the importance of kindness, leadership, and community involvement while making a positive difference right here in Turner County. HUGE thanks to Mrs. Lynn Davis for partnering with her support! We are proud of our students for demonstrating what it means to serve others and represent TCMS with excellence! 💙🧡

🌱🍀 Miss Wilkerson’s Agriculture class is exploring genetics by studying the mutation responsible for the rare four-leaf clover 🧬. Students then applied their learning by searching for four-leaf clovers in the greenhouse 🌿🔎 — combining science, agriculture, and hands-on discovery! 👩‍🌾📖✨

Turner County Middle and High School students proudly represented TCMS at the Area 5 Poultry Judging Competition! 🐔🥚 Students showcased their knowledge and skills in evaluating poultry products, demonstrating teamwork, critical thinking, and agricultural expertise. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication as they competed alongside other schools in the region. On February 13th, at Turner County Middle School, we were proud to partner with Peach State Health Plan to host No One Eats Alone, a meaningful initiative inspired by the work of the Sandy Hook Promise. This special event encouraged students to build new connections, show kindness, and ensure that no one feels isolated during lunchtime.
