This is an important event to complete the necessary documentation, and with spots being limited, we highly encourage all parents to attend to ensure their cadet’s packet is submitted on time.

📅🎓Please be aware of the following important senior dates before the school year concludes:
🚨 Early Release Announcement – Weather Alert 🚨
Due to the approaching storms, all Turner County Schools will release students a few minutes early today at 2:30 PM to ensure all bus routes are completed and buses are safely returned before the storms move in around 4:00 PM.
⛈️ Weather Update: The storm is expected to be fast-moving and should clear our area by 4:30 PM.
📚 After-School Program: The 21st Century after-school learning program will operate as usual, ending at 6:00 PM. Parents may choose for their students to stay for the program or if they want their students to leave, they may do so during the scheduled early-release time at 2:30 pm.
Please stay safe and take precautions as needed. Thank you for your understanding! ⛑️

On March 25th, Mrs. Guess’ Personal Finance and Economics classes had the opportunity to visit South Georgia Banking Company in Ashburn. Mr. Kevin Kicklighter, the bank's President , took time to welcome the students to the bank and introduce himself. The branch manager, Brad Christian and Jessi Peavy spoke with the students about banking and identity theft. Yesterday, Turner County JROTC hosted the **Area 2 Region Drill Championship**, and we're proud to announce that our cadets excelled! 💪🏼🏅 Turner JROTC competed in 4 of the 11 categories, with **3 teams placing** and earning a spot in the **State Competition** on **March 29, 2025**! 🏆
